Agapanthus ‘Aberdeen’ (Funnel Group) origin: raised by Kees Duivenvoorde, Beverwijk, The Netherlands, introduced in 2001. name: after the city in Scotland. 2 cm wide, arching, dark green, base green. peduncle: 60 cm, green speckled violet, flat. inflorescence: 17 cm across, 70 flowers, more or less globular. pedicel: green heavily flushed dull violet. flowerbud: violet-blue with greenish base, later violet-blue, upright.
